Eddie, Kallie & Nolan {Family}

Eddie and Kallie are good friends of ours and lucky for us, their son Nolan is one month older than our Dexter!  They are a good hike away all the way over on the other side of the Twin Cities so we always like to get together every couple of months to catch up and let the boys play.  This last weekend we got to do some family portraits as well.  The last few times we attempted photos Nolan was not having it.  Oh no.  But this time, he was great!  Smiley and happy the whole time!  I'm so happy I got to photograph this family.  I am very, very fond of them and am happy to help give them some memories to hold on to.  We all know how fast time flies and before you know it, Nolan will be in school, then graduating!

Rob & Emily {Engagement}

Rob and Emily were so much fun to photograph!  Emily is my cousin that I only see once a year, which is crazy because she is awesome!  And now she has herself an awesome fiancee!
She and Rob met on a cruise ship in the Caribbean (I know, don't we all wish we met THE ONE on a Caribbean cruise?!) and 2 years later Rob proposed with a B.E.A.U.tiful ring!  Love was in air as we moved from location to location and Emily did great with the fact that it was windy.  And I don't mean windy, I mean WINDY!  "Swept Away" is a great theme for our photo shoot.  I'm very excited for their wedding next November!

First we did some off-roading/hiking down a very steep embankment to a little hidden gem that I know about.  I love the wood beams in the background...

Look at the way he looks at her... melts your heart!

 Then we headed up to Prospect Park in Hudson.  The lighting up here was fantastic!  So beautiful.

 They are just so easygoing with each other.  I can tell that they are going to love each other a very long time.

One of my very favorite poses for lovebirds :)

Then we headed down to Main Street to look around for some fun locations.  I think we found some very good ones!

 And I think this may be my very favorite.  Yes, yes I believe it is.
Congratulations Rob & Emily!  I wish the very best and am so happy to add Rob to the family!

Girl Scout "Trunk or Treat"

We had many brave souls who came out in the rain and cold to participate in the "Trunk or Treat" that the Girl Scouts in Hammond put together.  There were costumes that were SO very cute and creative!  I'll really have to put my creative brain on when Dexter gets old enough to have a decent costume.  It really was so cold and wet but when it comes to candy, who can resist?  There was also a table where kids could have feather exentions put in their hair and have some custom feather earrings made... how fun!  I'm really glad I got to be a part of this and I hope that next years "Trunk or Treat" brings great weather!

For more photos of this cute kiddos, please go to the top of the page to the "Trunk or Treat" page!

Sneak Peek! Girl Scouts "Trunk or Treat"

The Girl Scouts in Hammond had a "Trunk or Treat" event in Hammond today and the weather did not stop those kids from getting their candy!  It was so cute to see all the costumes and I can't wait to show you  more!

Holiday Special!

Josh & Holly {Engagement}

Oh, thinking back on Josh and Holly's engagement session, I have to laugh a little thinking of how nervous they were!  It was very cute and I think really added to the easy going nature that the two of them share.  They were open for any ideas that I had and for any directions that I gave and were so lovey and cuddley with each other.  I think these two will have a very long happy life together!  I'm so excited for their wedding in August 2012!

Hailey {8.5 months}

What a little cutie Miss Hailey is, wouldn't you agree?  She was such a joy to photograph and such a ham for the camera!  That is once she got used to me.  Hailey's mom, Jill, had contacted me during my August Special and wanted some updated photos of this darling little girl.  I am so happy that I was able to do that for her and I sure hope I will get to see Miss Hailey again!
We shot these photos at Hailey's grandma's house.  They live on a farm and so there were lots of different places to shoot!
